🔻Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein sent a letter to his European counterparts urging them to reject the decision of the European Union Commission to include Iraq on the list of high-risk countries regarding money laundering and terrorist financing.

🔻The Foreign Minister assured his counterparts in a letter sent to them that Iraq: over the years, has implemented important laws and procedures in order to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and alleviate the risks associated with it. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) report indicated that the AML / CFT safeguards in Iraq are strong, and well-established.
