The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Cairo Discusses with Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Preparations for Joint High Committee
The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Mr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi discussed with the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al-Mashat via video conferencing technology, enhancing cooperation between Iraq and Egypt in light of the preparation and close coordination of the planned Iraqi-Egyptian High Joint Committee, which will start soon in Baghdad.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Al-Dulaimi conveyed greetings and appreciation of the Iraqi Minister of Trade, Dr. Alaa Al-Jubouri to the Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, wishing the Republic of Egypt continued progress and prosperity.
The Ambassador explained that coordination is taking place with Baghdad to study the draft agreements and memorandum of understanding proposed by the Egyptian side to reach the final date for the Supreme Committee.
On her part, Minister Al-Mashat affirmed the Egyptian government’s keenness to convene the committee as soon as possible, explaining that it is one of the most important mechanisms for activating cooperation between the two countries in many areas, expressing aspiration to strengthen and deepen the relations between Iraq and Egypt, and to open new prospects for them, and reviewed the efforts of the Egyptian government in the economic especially in the areas of development.
