Head of Arab Department Meets with the Indonesian Ambassador to Iraq

The Acting Head of the Arab Department Mr. Osama Mahdi Al-Rifai , met with the Indonesian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Bambang Antarikso.

The meeting discussed ways of developing methods of bilateral cooperation between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.

They also discussed a number of regional issues of common concern, the foremost of which is the Palestinian issue.

Mr. Al-Rifai reiterated Iraq’s position in support of the Palestinian issue, and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with its capital as Al-Quds Al-Sharif, stating that the Palestinian community in Iraq enjoy social, educational, and economic rights and freedoms.
