The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Prague Meets Chairman of Iraqi-Czech Parliamentary Friendship Committee

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Prague Mrs. Sundus Omar Ali met with Representative of the Czech Parliament Mr. Stanislav Grospic, head of the Iraqi-Czech friendship committee in the Czech Parliament.

The meeting discussed ways of cooperation between the two parliaments for both countries, strengthening bilateral relations in all economic, industrial and agricultural sectors, and encouraging Czech companies to invest in Iraq.

They two sides discussed activating cooperation in the health sector to confront the new Coronavirus and affirming the support of the Czech Parliament to pass common agreements between the two countries, and the importance of continuing support for Iraq in its war against terrorism.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the region, the importance of the international community’s support to the Palestinian people in establishing their state with its capital as Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and adherence to international laws and relevant Security Council resolutions.
