The Head of Arab Department Receives the Emirati Delegation

The head of the Arab Department Mr. Osama Mahdi Al-Rifai received the UAE delegation visiting Iraq that brought medical supplies estimated at 10.5 tons provided by the UAE to Baghdad for use in efforts to combat the Coronavirus.

Mr. Al-Rifai stated that “This medical aid is a clear indication of the solidarity of the brothers in times of crisis” and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE government and people for this pleasant initiative considering that it reflects the depth of unity between the two countries.

It is worth noting that this is the second time that UAE sends medical supplies to Iraq, and it includes masks, gloves, protective clothing and sterilization materials.
