Foreign Minister Holds Meeting with Ambassadors and Chargé d’affairs of Asia, Australia and Latin American Missions Accredited in Baghdad

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein held a meeting with Ambassadors and Chargè d’affairs of Asia, Australia and Latin America countries accredited to Iraq in the framework of the importance attributed to discussing common issues that concern all.

The Minister affirmed the full commitment of the Iraqi government to continue its efforts in facing the challenges and overcoming them, calling for the adoption of the principle of dialogue in resolving the crises facing the region without interfering in the internal affairs of countries, indicating that Iraq absolutely rejects interference in its internal affairs.

Minister Fuad Hussein also stated that the government’s priorities is to strengthen relations with the world and establish prospects for cooperation in order to achieve common interests, adding that the government seeks to reform the economic system, in reference to his call to open opportunities for investment in Iraq and pointed out that the meeting is for the purpose of exchanging views and strengthening diplomatic relations and supporting cooperation with partners.
