Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein “France is an Important and Essential Partner to Iraq”

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Mr. Bruno Aubert. The meeting included discussions of a number of topics of bilateral cooperation in several areas, including cooperation in the economic, cultural, and social fields within the framework of strategic relations between Baghdad and Paris.

Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed that France is an essential and important partner for Iraq, calling for more cooperation to serve the interests of both countries.

On his part, Ambassador Bruno Aubert conveyed the congratulations and greetings of the Foreign Minister of France to Minister Fuad Hussein on the occasion of assuming his position as Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq , and affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Iraq in confronting Da’esh terrorist organizations, and the willingness to activate cooperation in various fields.
