Foreign Minister Meets with Canadian Ambassador to Baghdad

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Canadian Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Ulric Shannon and discussed bilateral relations and prospects for their development between the two friendly countries.

The Minister stressed that Iraq is looking forward to more cooperation and opening new prospects between Baghdad and Ottawa to achieve the aspirations of the two peoples.

Minister Fuad Hussein expressed appreciation for Canada’s supportive stances in various fields, especially the support it provided to Iraq within the Global coalition to defeat Da’esh terrorist gangs
