Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Arab ambassadors accredited to Baghdad and discussed them with local issues which included the governmental effort in preparing for early elections, facing the pandemic challenges, its economic repercussions, in addition to combating terrorism and pursuing the remnants of Da’esh terrorist organization, and the reconstruction of liberated cities.
His Excellency the Minister also expressed Iraq’s stances regarding the crises in the region including renewing Iraq’s steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian people and establishing an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, supporting efforts to overcome Arab crises, and attempting to bring the views of the Arab brothers closer together, and Iraq’s call to adopt diplomatic methods in ending the
crisis in Yemen, Libya and Syria.
