The Consulate of Republic of Iraq in Ahvaz Organises an Exceptional Land Trip to Iraq

The Consulate of Republic of Iraq in Ahwaz operated an exceptional land trip to return (47) Iraqis stranded in Khuzestan province through the Shalamcheh border crossing due to prohibitions and flight suspension.
This trip was organized in coordination with the Crisis Cell and the Protocol Department at the Ministry’s headquarters and in cooperation with the competent Iranian authorities and the Basra Governorate Office to obtain the necessary approvals.
The citizens were accompanied by the diplomatic and administrative staff at the consulate to bid them farewell and facilitate their travel procedures.
