The Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Damascus Operates an Exceptional Flight to Baghdad

The Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Damascus conducted an exceptional trip with on (123) passengers on board of Iraqis stranded in Syria due to the comprehensive ban measures to avoid the spread of the new Coronavirus, in cooperation with the Iraqi Airways.

The travellers were accompanied by the Chargé d’Affaires, Mrs. Niran Hashim Shakir and the diplomatic staff to see them off, and for the progress of the evacuation procedures.

The Iraqi embassies deployed in many countries of the world have allocated hotlines, and have published notices through their official websites to the Iraqi community announcing their readiness to conduct exceptional flights for Iraqis who wish to return to the country.
