The Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Amman Operates Two Exceptional Flights to Baghdad and Erbil
Two exceptional flights departed from Amman, the first towards Erbil with (159) passengers on board and the other to Baghdad with (160) passengers onboard of Iraqis stranded in Jordan due to the flight ban measures taken by a number of countries in the world to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus.
The Ambassador of Iraq to Amman Mr. Haider Al-Adhari accompanied by diplomatic and administrative staff in the embassy went to the airport to check on the progress of the travellers procedures and overcome the difficulties.
All diplomatic missions in Iraq, under the directives of the Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim in coordination with the Iraqi Airways Office and the Protocol Department at the Ministry headquarters have made exceptional efforts to complete official approvals to return Iraqis stranded in countries of the world.
