The Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Egypt Operates an Exceptional Flight to Return Stranded Iraqis to Baghdad

The Iraqi Airways plane departed with ( 155) Iraqis citizens stranded in Egypt from Cairo Airport.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi praised the cooperation and coordination with the relevant Egyptian authorities, confirming the embassy’s continuity in following up the conditions of Iraqis in Egypt and working to overcome their difficulties.

The embassy based on the approval of the Diwan Committee (55) for the year 2020, announced its intention in coordination with the crisis cell in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and other competent ministries, and the Office of Iraqi Airways in Cairo to conduct exceptional air flights to return Iraqis stranded in Egypt to Baghdad, and in cooperation with the Egyptian.

The diplomatic staff accompanied the travellers to the airport to facilitate the departure procedures.
