Iraqi Pilgrims Stranded in Saudi Arabia Return to Iraq
Several Iraqi pilgrims stranded in Saudi Arabia numbered 173, arrived on an Iraqi Airways plane.
The consul general in Jeddah, along with the diplomatic staff, supervised the process of completing their departure procedures at the airport.
It is worth noting that both the Iraqi Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah worked to collect the names of pilgrims, provide transportation for them from Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and coordinate with the Saudi side.
The flight carried 172 Iraqi pilgrims who were stranded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to the lockdown within the measures to prevent Coronavirus.
The consul general and the consulate staff in Jeddah accompanied the pilgrims to the airport to facilitate the procedures for traveling and bidding them farewell.
