The Arrival of Extraordinary Flight to Baghdad Airport with Iraqi Travellers from Malaysia

The exceptional flight arrived at the airport in Baghdad from Kuala Lumpur carrying Iraqis stranded in Malaysia following the lockdown measures of the Coronavirus pandemic with 350 Iraqi travelers on board.
It is worth noting that our embassy in Kuala Lumpur has completed all the procedures for their return, starting with registering their names, addressing the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, obtaining approvals, and approaching the Iraqi Airways office, as the charge d’affaires was accompanied by a number of the embassy staff to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for the purpose of bidding them farewell.
The Malaysian Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing its thanks to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry for its cooperation in helping the return of (15) Malaysian citizens who were stranded in Iraq.
