Foreign Minister Discusses Activating Security Cooperation with Kabul to Confront Terrorism

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Mr. Hamdallah Moheb, the Afghan National Security Adviser and discussed with him achieving prospects for cooperation between the two countries, Minister Fuad Hussein expressed his aspiration to develop security cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, particularly that Baghdad and Kabul have a long experience in this regard.

This meeting came during the Minister’s participation in the work of of the IISS Manama Dialogue in its sixteenth session.

The two sides also discussed the issue of activating the air line between Baghdad and Kabul to encourage religious tourism, and reopening the Iraqi embassy to strengthen bilateral relations, and to achieve the aspirations of the people of both countries.
