Iraq Participates in Work of 47th Session of Council of Foreign Ministers of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

The Iraqi delegation, headed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Tunisia Mr. Majid Abdul-Ridha, participated in the work of the 47th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation titled (United Against Terrorism for Peace and Development), which was held in Niamey, the capital of Niger, for the period from 27-28/11/2020, and a number of draft decisions related to the Islamic countries that are members of the organization were approved, and Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad, was elected Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as of November 2021, to succeed the current Secretary-General, Mr. Youssef bin Al-Uthaimin
