In coordination with the Crisis Cell and Ministry of Transport Foreign Ministry Announces Departure of First Iraqi Airways Flight from Dubai
The Foreign Ministry announced the departure of the first Iraqi Airways flight from Dubai for Iraqi citizens stranded in the United Arab Emirates, after coordination with the Crisis Cell and the Iraqi Ministry of Transport.
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Dubai in cooperation with the Iraqi Airways Office evacuated approximately two hundred and fifty-four Iraqi citizens stranded in the United Arab Emirates today. The Iraqi Airways allocated three flights for Monday Tuesday and Wednesday for Iraqis to return to Iraq.
The Ambassador of Iraq in Abu Dhabi , Mr. Zaid Izz Al-Din Muhammad Nouri and the Iraqi diplomats provided all the required facilities, bid farewell to the first group of the Iraqis leaving Dubai.
This comes within the precautionary measures taken by Iraq to preserve the safety of its citizens in the countries of the world from the threat of Coronavirus.
