Iraq Receives 15 Tons of Medical Supplies from Arab Republic of Egypt

A shipment of medical supplies arrived at Baghdad airport provided by the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This comes within the framework of the strength and interdependence of the relations between the two brotherly countries, and the activation of bilateral cooperation in facing the viral pandemic.

The head of the Arab Department in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Mr. Osama Mahdi Ghanem, praised this initiative and stated that the Arab Republic of Egypt is always a pioneer in providing support and assistance to all brotherly and friendly countries, including Iraq, especially in light of the current circumstances and challenges that we all face, in a way that reflects the strength of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and expressed appreciation to the role of Egypt in supporting the efforts of the Iraqi medical personnel that are fighting to eradicate the pandemic, pointing out that this aid reflects the strength and interdependence of the relationship between the two countries.
