Head of the Asia and Australia Department , Ambassador Ali Yassin met with Mr. Generoso Calonge the Chargé d’affaires of Embassy of Republic of Philippines.

The two sides reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and the situation of Filipino workers in Baghdad.

The Ambassador expressed the Foreign Ministry’s readiness to provide all facilities to the Philippine embassy, ​​and to eliminate obstacles that may hinder its work and consolidate bilateral relations between the two countries.
