The Foreign Ministry in coordination with the Ministry of Health has made several urgent measures in receiving medical assistance and preventive initiatives offered by brotherly and friendly countries and donors in support of government efforts to counter the emerging coronavirus.
A shipment of medical supplies arrived in Iraq today, donated by the Turkish company, Yeni Kayaturk, owner of the two brands, MaxiMall, and PaulMark in Iraq. The shipment consists of one million pieces of preventive medical materials that include masks, protective suits, surgical and face protection.
The Ministry has coordinated the donation process, and the transportation of materials from Ankara to the relevant Iraqi government agencies.
