The Embassy of Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Operates Second Exceptional Flight to Return Iraqi Officers to Iraq

The Embassy of Republic of Iraq in Islamabad conducted the second air flight to return Iraqi officers and their families stranded in Pakistan.

The flight transferred (29) officers on the Iraqi military plane that took off from the (Nur Khan) military base bound for Baghdad.

This flight was made with the follow-up of the Iraqi ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Hamid Abbas Lafta in coordination with the Crisis Cell, the Protocol Department at the Ministry, and in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and the Iraqi Air Force Command.

The embassy was keen to be present to ensure progress of the procedures and bid farewell to the passengers.
