Minister Fuad Hussein Receives a Phone Call from Kenyan Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya Ms. Raychelle Omamo.

Ms. Raychelle Omamo congratulated the Minister on his assumption of the post of Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq.

The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Nairobi, and promoting them to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.

They two Ministers also discussed the latest developments in the Coronavirus pandemic , the necessity of concerted regional and international efforts to confront its spread and addressing its economic implications.

Minister Fuad Hussein praised the historical ties that link Iraq and Africa, especially Kenya, expressing his aspiration to develop and establish new prospects for cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Fuad Hussein called for the necessity of opening a diplomatic representation in Iraq, provided that a diplomatic representative is sent later.
