The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Kuwait Organises a Land Trip to Return Stranded Iraqis

The third land trip was organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Kuwait to transfer 33 stranded Iraqis in coordination with the Basra Governorate, and the Foreign and Interior Ministries of the State of Kuwait.

The convoy set out towards the border crossing, accompanied by the Chargé d’affaires a.i of the Iraqi Embassy Mr. Mohamed Ridha Al-Husseini, the director of the land ports, Brigadier Iyad Haddad, and embassy staff.

The embassy has provided assistance to several Iraqi families stranded in isolated neighborhoods of Kuwait in coordination with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.
