Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Tehran Operates an Exceptional Flight

The embassy of Iraq in Tehran operated an exceptional flight to Baghdad with (56) passengers on board of Iraqis stranded in Iran due to the procedures of the ban and suspension of flights to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
The passengers were accompanied by the Iraqi embassy diplomatic staff to the airport to see them off and to facilitate their travel procedures.
The embassy in coordination with the Crisis Cell, the Protocol Department at the Ministry’s headquarters and in cooperation with Iraqi Airways announced their intention to conduct exceptional flights to return Iraqis who wish to return to the country in cooperation with the relevant Iranian authorities.
