The Embassy of Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General in Dubai Operate Exceptional Flight to Return Stranded Iraqis

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai have operated an exceptional flight to Baghdad with (168) Iraqis that were stranded due to the comprehensive measures to prevent the new outbreak of Coronavirus.

This comes in implementation of the directive of the Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim in coordination with the UAE authorities, to operate exceptional flights to Baghdad to return Iraqis stranded in the UAE.

The embassy and the consulate general in the UAE announced through their official accounts on the social networking sites to Iraqi citizens in the Emirates who wish to return to the country to register their data so that they can prepare return flights for them on Iraqi Airways planes.
The passengers were accompanied by the Iraqi diplomatic staff to the airport to facilitate their return procedures.
