The Consulate General of Republic of Iraq in Manchester Prepares Residence for Iraqis in Building Attached to Consulate

The Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Manchester, through the crisis cell, and in line with the directives of the Foreign Minister followed up the affairs of Iraqis abroad and due to the strict health measures taken by the British authorities, as many hotels were emptied to accommodate people infected with the Coronavirus , as well as closing the airspace, four Iraqi citizens who were visiting Manchester to obtain their certificates and had no access to a hotel reservation.

The Consul General, Dr. Ihsan Allawi stated that we took a decision to house them in a building attached to the consulate, provide all their needs, and follow up on all their affairs.

On their part, they expressed their gratitude, thanks, and high appreciation to the Foreign Ministry and the Consulate for the care that they received in these difficult circumstances facing the world.
