The Departure of Second Exceptional Flight to Return Iraqi Citizens from Egypt to Baghdad

The second extraordinary flight of Iraqi Airways heading to the capital, Baghdad departed from Cairo International Airport carrying (291) Iraqi citizens stranded in Egypt.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi praised the cooperation and coordination with the Egyptian authorities, and the quick response to conduct these flights, noting that preparations were made, revealing the conducting of another third extraordinary flight tomorrow, Thursday, explaining that the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo continues to receive requests for Iraqi citizens who want to return to the country for those who entered Egypt for the purpose of tourism, as well as those who came to seek treatment.

The embassy, ​​based on the approval of the Diwan Command Committee (55) for the year 2020, and in coordination with the crisis cell formed in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and the concerned ministries, and the Office of Iraqi Airways in Cairo, and in conjunction with the repercussions of the recent Coronavirus crisis had conducted the first extraordinary flights on Tuesday to return the Iraqi patients and tourist groups stranded in Egypt to Baghdad in cooperation with the competent Egyptian authorities.
