Minister Alhakim Calls Republic of Korea Foreign Minister and Discusses Advancing Bilateral Relations between the Two Countries

Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim Ali affirmed Iraq’s keenness to improve bilateral cooperation between Baghdad and Seoul in a manner that guarantees the achievement of the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.

The two Ministers agreed on the importance of concerted efforts to meet the challenges facing both countries, including: cooperation in the field of confrontation, and prevention of Coronavirus which afflicted a number of countries in the world.

This came in a phone call by Minister Alhakim with Ms. Kang Kyung-wha, Republic of Korea Foreign Minister

Minister Alhakim called for exchanging experiences in the field of preventive medicine and discovering viruses, within the framework of activating bilateral cooperation.

The two Ministers also discussed the future methods of economic cooperation in light of the current challenges.
