Iraq Hands Over the Presidency of the League of Arab Council at Level of Delegates to Sultanate of Oman

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Dr. Ahmad Nayef Al-Dulaimi handed over the Presidency of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of delegates to the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Harthi  in meetings of the Council of the League of Arab States  Session (153) at the level of delegates held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States.

In his speech, Ambassador Al-Dulaimi expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Secretary General of the League of Arab States and the permanent representatives of the Arab countries for their efforts throughout the past period.

Ambassador Al-Dulaimi stated the despite the critical circumstances and events, the situation has always been a unified position to give the world a clear message about the depth of the Arab brotherhood, stating that self-denial was strongly present in our meetings, and the bonds of brotherhood were stronger than anything else; and this is what led to the end result, until we all unite under the umbrella of the League of Arab States.
