The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Cairo Chairs Event of Launching Arabic Version of OSCE Book

Dr. Ahmad Nayef Al-Dulaimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States( President of the current session of the Council of the League of Arab States) attended the  launching of the Arabic version of the book of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe on understanding the role of gender in preventing and combating violent and radical extremism leading to terrorism at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

Ambassador Al-Dulaimi stressed that the release of this version is important at the present time, because it would contribute to improving the capabilities of law enforcement agencies, including policy makers, and civil society to work together to prevent and combat violent and radical extremism leading to terrorism, confirming that the world is fully convinced that violent extremism and radicalization leading to terrorism represent cross-border challenges, and not limited to a specific nationality, race, religion, or gender; which requires participatory efforts to combat terrorism between government agencies and civil society actors.
