The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Brussels Meets Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Relations with Iraq in European Parliament

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Brussels, Mr. Sadiq Al-Rikabi met with the Spanish deputy, Domínz Rez Davisa, of the Committee on Relations with Iraq in the European Parliament, and discussed prospects for cooperation between the two sides and the partnership and cooperation agreement between Iraq and the European Union.

The latest developments in Iraq were also discussed. Ambassador Al-Rikabi pointed out the important role played by the Committee on Relations with Iraq in the European Parliament.

On his part, Mr. Davisa praised Iraq’s pioneering experience in the Middle East region, and confirmed that he will support Iraq in all European institutions, and will work to establish cultural activity for Iraq at the headquarters of the European Parliament.
