Iraq’s Ambassador to Belgrade Meets with Foreign Minister First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mr. Fakhri Hassan Al-Issa met in Belgrade with Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister.
The ambassador stressed Iraq’s keenness to establish the best relations with Belgrade, explaining that the government has development plans to improve Iraq, calling on the Serbian side to play an active role in supporting Iraq in various political, economic and security fields.
On his part, the Serbian Foreign Minister praised the ambassador’s efforts to advance bilateral relations through his work on a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding, in addition to the ambassador’s activity in communicating with Serbian ministries, expressing his thanks to Iraq’s positions on the issue of Kosovo, and the need to preserve the unity of Serbia.
