The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Doha Attends Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between UNESCO / Iraq Office and Italian Foreign Ministry to Support Education in Iraq

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Doha  Mr.  Omar Al- Barzanji attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Italian governments represented by the Italian Foreign Ministry and UNESCO / Iraq Office under the auspices of Qatar Foundation – Education Above All in the State of Qatar in the presence of Mr. Saad Ibrahim Abdul Rahim on the sidelines of WISE 2019 Summit held in Qatar.

The signing was attended by Mr. Fahad Al Sulaiti, Executive Director of Education Above All, Italian Ambassador Mr.  Pasquale Salzano, and a number of members of the Italian government.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to support education in Iraq in an effort to bring children who have dropped out of school to school again.
