The Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Meets with Deputy Chairman of the Pakistani Senate

The Iraqi Charge d’affaires Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam met with Pakistani Deputy Senate President Mr. Saleem Mandviwalla

The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, their common interests and risks, and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.

Mr. Abdul Salam stressed that the Government of Iraq is keen to strengthen, and take these relations to a broader prospect to serve the interest of both countries.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to achieve official invitations between the two countries to discuss issues of common interest and activate the parliamentary friendship committee between the two countries.
