The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Riyadh Meets with Head of the State Security Service in Saudi Arabia

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Riyadh, Ambassador Qahtan Taha Khalaf met with the First Lieutenant General Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Huwairini, head of the State Security Agency in Saudi Arabia.

The two sides discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, stability of the region, and cooperation in the field of security, and combating terrorism and extremism.

Mr. Al-Huwairini affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness on Iraq’s stability, prosperity, and non-interference in its internal affairs; considering that the security and stability of Iraq is the basis for the security of the Kingdom and the region.
