Foreign Minister Receives Copy of Credentials of Canada’s Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Ulric Shannon

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohama A. Alhakim received a copy of the credentials of Canada’s Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Ulric Shannon.

Minister Alhkim stressed Iraq’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Canada in various fields to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.

Minister Alhakim wished the Ambassador success in his diplomatic missions, expressing the readiness of the Foreign Ministry to provide all support for the success of the mission in Baghdad, pointing out that Iraq’s foreign policy is based on openness of relations with the countries of the world on the basis of the activation of common interests, and to face common risks.
