The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Prague Mrs. Sondos Omar Ali participated in a conference on Dialogue of Cultures, Prevention of Extremism and Violence, and delivered a speech at the opening session of the conference held at the Czech Foreign Ministry with the participation of the Foreign Minister, Ambassadors of the OIC Member States and a number of academics at universities and research centers. Ambassador Omar noted that Iraq has suffered greatly from violence and terrorism, and the government has developed a national strategy to combat violent extremism referring to the intensive efforts made in the sector of education in the reconstruction of the city of Mosul.
