Tripartite Meeting of Foreign Minister Alhakim with Jordanian and Egyptian Counterparts

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim held a meeting with Jordanian Foreign Minister Mr. Ayman Al-Safadi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Mr. Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the Small Group Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat Da’esh in Washington.

The Ministers discussed the development of partnership frameworks between the three countries through a series of investment cooperation covering various areas, including: energy, housing, agriculture, investment, reconstruction, industry, and diversification of economic circles, which reflect on the countries with more stability and balance, in preparation for the conclusion of strategic economic partnerships.

They also discussed the latest developments in the region in general and the importance of finding solutions to address the situation and end the human suffering. Minister Alhakim touched on the reforms launched by the Iraqi government in response to the demands of the demonstrators, to achieve social justice, and to fight corruption.
