Foreign Minister Receives Copy of Credentials of Non-resident Cypriot Ambassador

Foreign Minister Mr.  Mohamad A. Alhakim received a copy of the credentials of the non-resident ambassador to Cyprus, Mr. Andreas Kouzoupis.

Minister Alhakim called for increasing the diplomatic representation between the two countries, stressing the Iraqi efforts to establish the best relations, and opening to all countries of the world, stressing the need for cooperation between the two countries to achieve common interests and prevent common risks, stressing the importance of developing the prospects of bilateral cooperation in all fields, stating  that investment in Iraq is open to Cypriot companies to work and support the economic sector. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministry Senior Undersecretary and the Head of Europe Department.
