Foreign Minister Receives Phone Call from Secretary General of the League of Arab States

Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim Ali received a phone call from Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States to discuss the latest developments in Iraq, and support the efforts of the Iraqi government in achieving stability, security and economic development.

On his part, Minister Alhakim stressed that Iraq is moving steadily towards achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people. They also stressed the importance of the Arab League’s continued support for key Arab issues.
