Foreign Minister Visits Headquarters of International Committee for Missing Persons

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Ms. Kathyrne Bomberger, Director General of the International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP) at the Commission’s headquarters in The Hague.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on cooperation between the International Committee for Missing Persons (ICMP) and the competent Iraqi authorities to intensify joint efforts to achieve constructive cooperation on the issue of missing persons and victims of mass graves in Iraq, based on the Iraqi Government’s statement on the condemnation and denunciation of mass grave crimes committed by the dictatorial regime, and to benefit from international expertise in the field of modern techniques related to determining the fate of missing persons and victims of mass graves.
