The Head of the Arab Department Ambassador Mr. Ali Abbas Bandar Al-Ameri met with the Russian Ambassador accredited to Baghdad, Mr. Maxim Maximov, upon his request at the Ministry’s headquarters to discuss the most important developments in the region and in particular Turkey’s offensive on Syrian territory and the launching of military operations, and the implications on the security and humanitarian levels and its impact on the region in general and on Iraq in particular, as well as the outputs of the extraordinary meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo on 12/10/2019.
