Iraqi Ambassador in Ankara Meets Turkish Foreign Minister

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Turkey Mr.Hassan Al-Janabi met on October 4, 2019, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mr.  Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu at the ministry in Ankara. The Turkish Foreign Minister welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in his duties. Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed his country’s keenness on the security and stability of Iraq and its territorial integrity.

On his part, the Ambassador stressed the importance of holding the visit of  President Recep Tayyip Erdogan because of the messages of support to Iraq, and the presence of common factors that bring the two countries will contribute to strengthening their relations in various aspects and support key issues, including the issue of water, which is an important file pointing  out that there is a great Iraqi desire to develop these relations with friendly neighbor Turkey, appreciating at the same time the cooperation shown by Foreign Ministry officials with the embassy to facilitate the work of its staff.
