Deputy Head of Neighboring Countries Department Meets Deputy Head of EU Delegation and Director of EU Coordination and Liaison Office in Erbil

The Deputy Head of the Neighboring Countries Department, Advisor Mrs. Abeer Salem Khalifa, met with Mr. Jean Bernard, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation, and Mr. Vincent Kyum Pombo, Political Officer / Director of the EU Coordination and Liaison Office in Erbil.

 The role of Iraq in the political crisis between the United States and Iran and its regional influence in the region was discussed.

The two sides also discussed ways to enhance the future of trade exchange between Iraq and the European Union in the Iraqi economic arena.
