Deputy Head of Europe Department Meets with Charge d ‘affaires of Spanish Embassy in Baghdad

The Deputy Head of Europe Department Dr. Ali Shamran Hajim met with the Chargé d’affaires of the Spanish Embassy in Baghdad, Mrs. Mariana Sanchez. The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and the possibility of holding the Iraqi-Spanish Joint Committee after the elections and the formation of the new Spanish government. The deputy head also thanked the Spanish embassy for expressing cooperation to transfer the Spanish (FACTUM) organization gift to the University of Mosul as part of cultural cooperation between the two countries, and discussed cooperation in the field of mutual support to fill positions in international organizations for the coming period.

  At the end of the meeting, Dr. Ali thanked Mrs. Mariana Sanchez for holding this meeting and for the cooperation provided by the Ministry in facilitating the work of the Spanish Embassy in Baghdad.
