Foreign Minister Meets his Dutch Counterpart Stef Blok

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Dutch Foreign Minister Mr. Stef Blok on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the interest of the two friendly peoples.
Minister Alhakim pointed to the importance of coordination between the two countries on issues of common concern, calling on Dutch companies to invest in Iraq because of the promising investment environment, especially after the Iraqis defeated Da’esh terrorist gangs.
Minister Alhakim noted Iraq’s desire to achieve political consultation on regional and international issues, and to listen to the Dutch side’s vision of events and developments in the Middle East.
