Deputy Head of Europe Department Meets Finnish Charge d’affaires in Baghdad

The Deputy Head of Europe Department, Dr. Ali Shamran met with the Finnish Charge d’affaires in Baghdad, Mrs. Tarja Floods.

The Deputy Head of Europe Department welcomed the decision of the Finnish government to nominate a new ambassador to Baghdad that will be the first Finnish Ambassador to Iraq after 2003.

The two sides also discussed enhancing joint efforts to contribute to the progress of work at all levels.
