Head of the Department of Asia and Australia Receives Korean Ambassador to Baghdad

 Ambassador Abdullah Hassan Saleh, Head of Asia and Australia Department, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Baghdad, Mr. Yang Yong Wok and the Deputy Korean Ambassador, Mr. Joe Tae Ho, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

At the outset of the meeting, the Korean Ambassador congratulated the head Asia and Australian Department, on the occasion of assuming his duties, asserting his readiness to cooperate with the Department to develop the relations of the two friendly countries.

On his part, Ambassador Abdullah Hassan Saleh thanked the Korean Ambassador to for his visit, stressing his readiness to cooperate fully with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Baghdad to develop relations between the two countries in various fields. The meeting also touched on the ninth session of the Iraqi-Korean Joint Committee and the promotion and protection of investment and the prevention of double taxation and exemption of holders of diplomatic passports and service from the requirement of prior access to entry visas.
