Foreign Minister Meets with his Austrian Counterpart

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Austrian Foreign Minister Mr. Alexander Schallenberg. The two sides discussed aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields.
Minister Alhakim expressed Iraq’s keenness on bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two friendly countries, in addition to strengthening coordination and political consultation on regional and international issues of common concern.
They two Ministers also exchanged insights and ideas on ways to end the crises of some countries in the region and to ensure stability in these sensitive circumstances.
The meeting also touched on Austria’s aspiration to contribute to the reconstruction of liberated cities.
